Weddings Terms

Version of 14 October 2026

These Terms add to the General Terms and apply to anyone who creates a wedding website with Fotia Weddings and to anyone who visits it.

1.The service

Fotia Weddings lets you:

  • create a wedding website, reachable on weddings.fotia.events at a dedicated address;
  • publish information for guests: programme, venues, accommodation, guide, photographs and any gift details;
  • collect guests' RSVPs, with menu choices and dietary requirements, and manage them, including entering them by hand.

2.Who the Customer is

The Customer is whoever creates the website: a wedding planner acting for their professional activity, or the couple themselves. If the Customer is a consumer, all the rights the Consumer Code grants them remain unaffected.

A website becomes visible to guests only after the Customer publishes it and Fotia activates it.

3.Website content

The Customer is responsible for the content they publish: its accuracy (times, venues, directions), the rights to photographs and texts, and the consent of the people depicted. If they publish gift details, such as an IBAN, they check that they are correct and that they may publish them.

Fotia does not check content before publication and is not liable for incorrect information published by the Customer.

4.Guest replies and health data

The Customer is the controller of guests' reply data; Fotia processes them on their behalf, as processor (Art. 28 GDPR), with the commitments set out in the Privacy Policy: processing only to run the website, confidentiality, appropriate security measures, the listed providers, assistance with data subject requests, breach notification and deletion at the end.

Dietary requirements are health data. Fotia collects them only with the guest's explicit consent and deletes them automatically 30 days after the wedding; other replies 180 days after. The Customer uses them only to organise the wedding and shares them with the caterer and venue only as far as needed.

5.Website availability

Fotia strives to keep the website reachable, but an internet service may have interruptions. For urgent communications close to the wedding (a change of time or venue) the Customer does not rely on the website alone and also informs guests by other means.

6.What Fotia does not do

Fotia provides the tool: it does not organise the wedding, is not a party to the relationships between the Customer, the couple, the guests and the wedding suppliers, and does not receive or transfer payments or gifts.
